«Бог нам прибіжище і сила…» (Пс. 46, 1).
Відкрий наново свого ворога як брата чи сестру. Відкрий наново, що блудний брат чи блудна сестра, які тобі не подобаються і яких ти відкидаєш, насправді є тобі братом чи сестрою в цій родині людства. Отець хоче, щоб ви сиділи разом за одним столом. Відкрий наново, що всі, кого ти називаєш ворогами, належать по суті до тої самої сім’ї, що й ти, і всі ви, разом, сидите за одним столом.
Господи, дай мені зір, який дозволить мені бачити Тебе в іншій людині.
Discover Your Lost Brother
God is our refuge and our strength . .. Psalm 46:1
Rediscover your enemy as your brother or your sister. Rediscover that the lost brother or sister that you dislike and reject is really your brother or your sister in the human family. Your Father wants you to sit at the same table together. Rediscover that all those me-, whom you called enemies basically belong to the same family as you do, and that you all belong und the same table, together.
Serve the poor. I say this because this is the way of God. How did the Father finally reveal his love for us? By sending his beloved Son to be with us where we are poor. “I have come for the lost sheep.” God chose the descending way to reveal love and it is very important for us to see that and reflect on it. It is such a great, great sign for us that Jesus chose the “downwardly mobile” way to be together with us at the same table. It’s God’s way for Jesus and it’s God’s way for us. “I’m sent into the world by the Father to bring Good News to the poor.” It is very beautiful, very mysterious, and very true. The glory of the Father is revealed to us in the downward way of God’s beloved, Jesus.
Lord, you revealed yourself in love for all people. Show me the way I can express your love for those around me.
