Today our parish had the privilege of meeting Bishop Venedikt Aleksiychuk, who came to bless the Easter baskets and share with us the joy of the Resurrection. In this simple gesture is the deep meaning of true pastoral care. Because the bishop does not wait for people to come to him - he himself comes to the people, stands next to them and blesses what is most important: family, work, daily life.
In this the truth of the Church is revealed, God is not far from our life — He enters it, sanctifies it, touches the simplest things. The bishop’s visit became for us a sign of living pastoral care and unity with the Church. Our parish priest, Fr. Mykola Buriadnyk, together with his co-workers — Fr. Andriy Delisandrou, Fr. Bohdan Nalisnyk and Fr. Protodeacon Mark Krutyak — express sincere gratitude to the bishop for his arrival and fatherly presence.
Parishioners also joyfully welcomed their bishop, feeling a deep sense of unity and support.
