And now, when the Christmas holidays are quietly coming to an end, when the last carols disappear from the church, and the nativity scenes fold their costumes, a special moment comes - time for silence and summarizationIt's time to look back and see what our parish really lived through during these holy days.
It was a time of many meetings, celebrations, nativity scenes, joint prayer, and charitable initiatives. In various ways all parish organizations were involved: some served, some organized, some collected donations, including to support the forces in Ukraine, combining the joy of Christmas with a concrete work of love. And although not everything can be told separately, all this together created one whole — a vibrant parish community.
But amidst all this Christmas movement, one image remained particularly distinct — the image of our children. They were the thread that connected the holiday, faith, and the future. Their nativity scene was not a loud conclusion, but a quiet sign that Christmas does not end with the calendar. It continues where a child learns to pray, speak the truth, serve, and carry the light further.
Perhaps not everything is always visible at once. Perhaps the fruits of this work will be revealed over the years. But that is how it is — imperceptibly, without unnecessary words — the future of the parish is bornIt grows in the voices of children, in the earnest Christmas words spoken, in the small steps of faith taken today.
And when the Christmas holidays fade into memories, the most important thing remains - appreciation. For the time we have lived. For the journey we have shared. For the children who are already reminding us, adults, that true Christmas is not just an event, but a state of the heart.
May the light of Christ's Nativity, which so quietly and sincerely shone in our children this year, continue to illuminate the path of our entire parish community for a long time to come.
