"Mothers in Prayer" community at the parish of St. Joseph the Betrothed was launched in 2010. Mothers gathered for prayer every second Friday of the month before the Holy Liturgy. The prayer group consisted of approximately 10 people. During the whole time, the members of the community took an active part in the life of the parish. They helped at the annual parish festival Uktoberfest, participated in various charitable causes. Everything was going smoothly until the beginning of the pandemic Covid-19. Unfortunately, the community has suspended its meetings during the pandemic.

At the moment, the prayer group has resumed its activities with new forces. The community continues to pray together for our children and families, for peace and victory in Ukraine, for our defenders and in other intentions and needs.

Currently, the prayer group is replenished with new young active mothers. The community is headed by Anna Kulinych. The priest of the community is Fr. Bohdan Nalysnyk. Meetings take place every last Thursday of the month in the chapel.
