Cyril and Methodius Community (KMS) was founded in October 2021 by a group of enterprising people. Initially, it was called the Youth and Sports Committee (KMS) and aimed at'to connect young people around the church through various entertainment, intellectual and sports events.

However, the war in Ukraine changed the vector of activities of the volunteer group, and all the projects of the KMS were aimed at helping Ukraine. Also at this time, on the advice of Father Mykola Buryatnik, the name of the organization was changed from the Youth and Sports Committee to the Cyril and Methodius Community.

Since that time, all volunteers of the organization have been working at the parish of St. Joseph the Betrothed to provide assistance to the Ukrainian Army and, whenever possible, are always happy to help with any request. Also, they are always happy to help in the improvement of the church and support other volunteer organizations in the parish of St. Joseph the Betrothed.

Young people, elderly people, teenagers and even children work side by side in the KMS. If you want to join in helping others, the Cyril and Methodius Community welcomes you to its team. You can get involved by simply coming to any community event and asking where help is needed, and you'll be mixing the good with the good. You can also find us on Facebook (Kms Kyrylo-Mefodiivska Spilnota) and write a private message that you want to join KMS.

With God's help, together to victory!
